Events at Woodard Plaza

One Sunday a month from June through September, the Mujeres Artesanas con Carrillo will be selling colorful crafts handmade right here in Avondale where they live or by family members in the towns they are from in Chile, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.

A performance series hosted by the Northwest Arts Alliance, Moods and Foods provides entertainment at Woodard Plaza from summer to fall. Past events have included live music, theater and spoken word performances. Picnics, families, and participation are all welcome and encouraged.
